General Association of Regular Baptists
Founded by twenty-two churches withdrawing from the Northern Baptist Convention in protest against modernism in 1932, the association adopted the New Hampshire Confession of Faith (1832) with a premillennial interpretation to the final article. Strictly congregational in church government, the association has grown to well over 200,000 members and is served by a Council of Eighteen. Various missions agencies and six institutions of higher learning are approved.
