Abdeel
ABDEEL (ăb'dē-ĕl, Heb. ‘avde’ēl, servant of God). The father of Shelemiah, ordered by King Jehoiakim to arrest Jeremiah the prophet and his scribe, Baruch (Jer.36.26).
ABDEEL ăb’ diəl (עַבְדְּאֵ֔ל, servant of God [El]). A man whose son, Shelemiah, was directed by Jehoiakim, king of Judah, to arrest Baruch, the scribe, and Jeremiah, the prophet (Jer 36:26).
